Generally, we process orders faster than the stated times. However, if the processing time for your document has exceeded what's listed, feel free to contact us at the email address below:
For vital records, the turn-around time for certified birth, marriage, and death records is 10 - 14 business days from the date you placed the order. Expedited orders are sent via USPS Priority Mail service within 5 - 7 business days from the date the order was placed.
Business days do not include Saturday, Sunday, or any federal or state holidays. See Massachusetts State Holiday list.
Transcribed Birth, Marriage, and Death Records are emailed within 10 - 14 business days from the date the order was placed.
There is no expedited service available for transcribed records.
For court records, including probate and divorce records, turn-around time is as follows:
Divorce records are sent via first-class mail within 10 - 14 business days from the date ordered. Expedited orders are sent via USPS Priority Mail service within 5 - 7 business days from the date ordered.
Probate records Probate Records are generally sent to you via first-class mail within 14 business days from the date ordered.
Some counties can take longer, and most take much less, but this is especially true with older records now "archived" in off-site facilities.
