This is not an online database or index to Massachusetts probate records. This is an online application to have one of our researchers physically search for and locate a probate case file at a county probate and family court in eastern Massachusetts.

We service the probate and family courts of Bristol, Middlesex, Norfolk, and Suffolk counties of eastern Massachusetts.
We do not service the probate and family courts of Barnstable, Berkshire, Dukes, Essex, Franklin, Hampden, Hampshire, Nantucket, Plymouth or Worcester.

There is a minimum fee of $45 for this service. Company or personal checks and or money orders are accepted for payment. We do not accept credit or debit cards. Further payment instructions are sent via your web browser immediately following placement of your order.

Your order will remain on file for up to ten business days. If payment is not received within ten business days of your request, the request is deleted.

Type of Probate Record	Please note, a "Name Change" record or "Guardianship" record is not an adoption. We do not obtain copies of any adoption records. Such records are closed by the court and need a court order to access. Please do not request an adoption record and state the record is a name change, or guardianship. No refunds will be made in the event of such a request.

Year of Probate Search	Is the file earlier than the year 1926? If so, select "Unknown" and explain specifics in notes section listed below. Not all papers in pre 1926 probate records can be photocopied. Condition and accessibility varies by county. Unless on microfilm or which the probate papers have already have been digitally scanned, we do not photocopy pre 19th century documents. These older probate records can sometimes only be photocopied by using record books, not the actual papers.
